Synopsis

From the dawn of recorded history, humankind has entertained the notion of curses – malevolent forces capable of bringing misfortune to those who unknowingly trespass. Even now, many harbor a sense of unease at the prospect of entering a place rumored to be cursed, or of touching an object said to be afflicted. But should such forces truly exist, what accounts for their genesis? And what events set them in motion?
