This show held a special place among science fiction enthusiasts before Star Wars came along. It definitely had its share of silliness and cheesiness, but it was still fun to watch, and admittedly a bit suggestive for its time! Seriously, there were women wearing very little clothing, even by 1960s standards! And the skirts worn by the female members of Starfleet were shockingly short. That’s probably what I enjoyed most about the series! 😅 Ultimately, the original run was simply the strongest.
