Synopsis

Driven by a desperate need to save his father, Sui Ge launches a furious assault on the palace, finding himself directly opposed by Prime Minister Zhuang and the assembled imperial guards. Elsewhere, Jing Shi confides his ambitions for deposing his brother in Xi Yang, though the latter's evident interest in Xi Yang plants a troubling seed of uncertainty within him. As Sui Ge’s search for his father progresses, he is confronted with the stark reality of his mother’s demise.
