Synopsis

Yi Xiao found Jing Shi and, in a harsh reckoning, learned the truth of her downfall following the battle at Pingling. With this knowledge, he declared himself her adversary from that moment forward. Sui Ge led Yi Xiao to his mother's dwelling in the woods, acknowledging the vow he had made to her and granting her freedom now that she knew who had plotted against her life. He then departed to seek justice for Yi Xiao with the Emperor, revealing that she had been the target of the Empress’s scheme
