Synopsis

A body, belonging to a man from South Carolina, is discovered adrift in the Black River. Investigator Allen Morris, assigned his first homicide, begins a careful examination of the deceased's wife and mistress, compelled to unravel the intricate network of lies that led to his vanishing.
