Synopsis

The disappearance and subsequent murder of a young schoolteacher, deeply cherished by the community, sends a tremor through the quiet New England town. Robert Cushing, a seasoned investigator, is brought in to head the search for the perpetrator, yet even he is unprepared for the chilling extent of the killer's design.
