Synopsis

The discovery of Jody Loomis’s body in the woods occurred in August of 1972. Three decades later, DNA belonging to the perpetrator was recovered from clothing she had owned. It wasn't until 2018, with the aid of genetic genealogy, that the DNA profile yielded a potential suspect, the charges against whom would ultimately need to be established in a court of law.
