Synopsis

In a quiet Texas town, the body of nineteen-year-old Stacey Stites is discovered, the victim of rape and murder. A year of diligent investigation culminates in a match between DNA recovered from the crime scene and that of Rodney Reed. He is convicted and sentenced to death. However, in the years that follow, as Reed consistently maintains his innocence, a series of compelling pieces of evidence begin to emerge, suggesting the possibility that he may be telling the truth.
