Synopsis

The line between art and life blurred when Dr. Haing Ngor, a survivor of the Cambodian genocide, received an Academy Award for his performance in *The Killing Fields*. Yet, his triumph was tragically cut short; following his assassination, the Los Angeles Police Department delved into a complex network of political machinations, vengeance, and gang violence, seeking to expose the truth behind his death.
