Synopsis

In the 1970s, a brutal murder shattered the peace of a Detroit neighborhood populated largely by African-Americans. Though suspects were apprehended and convicted, the full truth remained obscured for nearly half a century. It was only after forty-seven years that the record began to correct itself, finally revealing the reality of the crime and offering a measure of justice to a past injustice.
