Poppy had never witnessed snow firsthand. A thrill of excitement coursed through her as she gazed at the falling flakes, though her friends shivered with cold. Determined to savor the moment alone, Poppy ventured further onto the frozen lake, only to find herself trapped on a shard of ice in the frigid water.
