Synopsis

Carlo’s intervention in a suicide attempt at the Colosseum further bolstered his standing as a mayoral contender in Rome. Back home, however, his son Giovanni was orchestrating a celebration. It was there he encountered Giorgia, a singer with whom he found an instant connection. Simultaneously, the marriage of pharmacist Annalisa appeared to be dissolving, presenting Carlo with what felt like his first genuine opportunity to win her affection.
