Synopsis

A pall descends upon Fort Smith, Arkansas, with the discovery of a retired schoolteacher, found deceased and brutally murdered. The victim had suffered thirty-six blows to the head, inflicted with a hammer. As the perpetrator is brought to account, a surprising truth emerges regarding the killer's identity.
