Synopsis

The weight of Najm's mother's demands proved too much for Malak; she finally yielded to the pressure and dissolved into tears. Najm, witnessing her distress, sought out Ward’s assistance. Simultaneously, a resolve began to form within her: a plan to be with Malak again, even if it meant fleeing.
