Synopsis

Alfredo, Holmes's former sponsor in matters of temperance, sought his assistance with a clandestine undertaking – a desperate measure to aid his brother. Simultaneously, Holmes and Watson found themselves embroiled in an investigation: the suspicious death of a biology professor, found to have been poisoned while engaged in a confidential genetics project.
