Synopsis

Holmes and Watson find themselves drawn into a perplexing case: the murder of a robotics engineer, a death that may hinge upon the engineer's clandestine work in the field of practical teleportation. Meanwhile, Detective Bell faces a bitter disappointment when he is barred from a crucial course, a requirement for completing his master’s degree and advancing to the U.S. Marshal Service. To his dismay, he discovers the instructor harbors a deeply personal objection to admitting him.
