Synopsis

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson find themselves embroiled in the investigation of a murder, the victim a man Holmes had long deemed one of New York's most unscrupulous private investigators. Simultaneously, Holmes, nursing a resentment over a recent defeat at the hands of Shinwell, resolves to channel his frustration into dismantling a prominent local organization of private detectives.
