Synopsis

Retta journeys to the Great Lakes region in search of homes desperately in need of revitalization. Here, a collection of visually unappealing properties are competing for a $150,000 transformation orchestrated by designer Alison Victoria. She gains intimate access to a house resembling a Victorian dollhouse, a lakeside dwelling harboring a peculiar aroma, and a building with a past as a place of worship.
