Synopsis

Lord Ganesha presented Lord Shiva with a garment. He earnestly requested that Shiva don it, a request the deity accepted with pleasure. Ganesha, Parvati, and the assembled ganas gazed upon Shiva, utterly astonished by the sight of him adorned in the attire.
