Synopsis

At the command of Mahadev, Nandi, the sacred bull, took the form of a tiger and descended upon Parvati and Kartikay. The young prince met the beast's attack with courage, engaging it in fierce combat. Seeing Kartikay’s valor, Mahadev reassured him of his future triumph over Tarakasura and resolved to begin his training.
