Synopsis

Lord Shiva established the sacred Jyotirlinga within Trimbak, and the place was named Trimbakeshwar. The river Ganga began to flow through Trimbak, becoming known as the Godavari. At the same time, Sukarma resolved to marry Matsya to the most seasoned fisherman. Hearing this, Shiva resolved to disguise himself as a fisherman in order to wed Parvati.
