Synopsis

Parvati proposed a trial to Mahadev: he should command the sage-wives to worship him. Mahadev responded by playing his flute, the melody enchanting the women. Watching this, Parvati felt a surge of jealousy. Meanwhile, Raktabeej, enraged by Dhumralochan's defeat, issued a challenge to Dadhichi and the Devas, demanding a battle.
