Synopsis

Indra inquired of Ganga the source of her sorrow, and she confessed a desire to wed Mahadev. He, in turn, recounted the story of Adi Shakti's birth. The other aspect of Shiva was born as the daughter of Him Naresh and Menavati. Upon learning this, Tarakasur dispatched Bahurupa to destroy the child.
