Synopsis

Menavati facilitated Parvati's union with Mahadev, yet the powerful god continued to disregard her fervent devotion. Narad, observing this, counselled Parvati to undergo a transformation, hoping to ignite Mahadev’s affection. Separately, Sati journeyed across the river to the pyre, seeking to demonstrate the depth of her piety to her beloved.
