Synopsis

Consumed by grief and rage, Rati held Parvati responsible for Kamdev’s demise, and in her anguish, cursed the goddess with barrenness. It was Lord Vishnu who gently persuaded Rati to retract her bitter words. Meanwhile, Menavati learned that Parvati had journeyed to be with Lord Shiva, though the goddess had assured her that no action would be taken without Menavati's consent.
