Synopsis

Menavati instructed Parvati in the arts of domesticity—the preparation of food among them—and found herself continually astonished by the young woman's aptitude. Meanwhile, in the celestial realms, Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Lakshmi conferred upon the destined union of Shiva and Parvati. Parvati reached the age of womanhood.
