Synopsis

Mahadev and Nandi made a desperate attempt to dissuade Sati, but her resolve remained firm; she was determined to attend her father’s yagna. Lord Vishnu and Brahma implored Mahadev to accompany her, yet he stood his ground. Daksh, beaming with pride at the grandeur of the sacred rite he had orchestrated, barred Sati from participating in the ceremonies. Should she have heeded Mahadev's counsel?
