Synopsis

A sacred ritual was announced to be held at Brahma's dwelling, and both Mahadev and Daksh were summoned to attend. Mahadev offered a blessing to Daksh, but the gesture was met with rejection. Daksh turned from him, uttering harsh words against Shiva. He declared a grand yagna, explicitly excluding Mahadev from its proceedings. Separately, Vidyunmali, son of the demon Tarakasur, sought out Shiva, requesting him to serve as his protector, ensuring immunity from death.
