Synopsis

Rati and Kamdev desired to adorn Kailash for the marriage of Shiva and Parvati, and the Lord himself granted their request. Sati anticipated the auspicious occasion with fervent eagerness. Tarakasura challenged the gods to battle. Shiva descended to prevent the conflict, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
