Synopsis

Saraswati was appointed to judge the contest between the sons of Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma. Brahma himself intervened, commanding his offspring to accept the teachings of Rishi Atharva as the fourth Veda. They apologized to Sati and conceded to the wisdom of the Veda. However, when Brahma’s sons lauded Mahadev, Daksha cursed them.
