Synopsis

During the ceremony, Parvati presents prasad to the deities. When the offering reaches Banasur, he pauses, a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. He turns in prayer to Mahadev, beseeching release from the forces of darkness that bind him. Mahadev then commands Bhairav to intervene, but the fierce deity refuses. With that, Mahadev departs for Sonitpur, intending to aid Banasur himself.
