Synopsis

Though warned again and again, Banasur remained deaf to Mahadev’s counsel. He boasted of his own future ruin, claiming that Parshuram would be his destroyer. A challenge hurled, he demanded a battle with Parshuram, yet the sage declined. Returning to Sonitpur, Banasur proclaimed himself sovereign of the entire cosmos.
