Synopsis

Lord Shiva recounted to Kartikeya the scheme of Indra, the king of the gods, against the Asuras. A deep unrest permeated all beings due to the ongoing conflict between Asuras and Devas. Separately, a temple priest barred Mahananda from observing the Pradosha Vrata, and threatened her with a curse should she not depart. Would Lord Shiva intervene on her behalf?
