Synopsis

A shadow of concern fell upon Parvati as she considered Kashi. The citizens there were prone to sorrow when Mahadev and she departed. At the urging of Mandranchal, they resolved to make their abode upon Mandranchal mountain. Ripunjay forbade any disrespectful reverence towards the deities, a decree that stirred anger in Daksh.
