Synopsis

Sati was dispatched to gather soil from the River Saraswati for a world Daksha was shaping. In her stead, the goddess Lakshmi assumed Sati's guise and arrived at the palace. By the riverbank, Sati encountered two rishis who requested assistance with a Shiva puja. After leaving a cluster of lotuses upon the throne, Lakshmi vanished.
