Synopsis

Consumed by wrath, Mahadev resolved to destroy Daksha. A tremor of fear ran through the gods; they worried his fury would spill over and harm Sati. In haste, Narada sought out Lord Vishnu, imploring him for aid in calming the tempestuous deity. Yet, even Brahma and Vishnu found themselves powerless, bound by Daksha’s decree to refrain from worshipping Shiva. However, Vishnu, after a moment's contemplation, conceived of a solution.
