Synopsis

Daksh made Sati a solemn promise: her marriage would proceed only with his willing consent. Meanwhile, Sati observed the observances of the Nanda Vrat, diligently molding a Shivaling from clay. Venturing to the graveyard, she gathered sacred ash when Mahadev manifested before her. He instructed her to abandon the fast, and then, as she protested, he dissolved into nothingness.
