Synopsis

Lord Shiva conveyed to Sati that their union was forbidden. She implored him to spare her, pleading that he not seek retribution because of his feud with her father. Shiva then elucidated the nature of the mortal form, explaining the impossibility of their marriage. At that moment, Daksha, Sati’s father, appeared and declared that his daughter would be put to death.
