Synopsis

Sati remained consumed by thoughts of Shiva. Prasuti reassured her husband that this was merely a temporary affliction, and Sati would eventually overcome it. She urged Sati to be honest with her father, to declare that she had abandoned her illusions regarding Shiva. Sati, however, was tormented by a confusing conflict of emotions.
