Synopsis

A profound anger seized Mahadev at the mere notion of Andhaka desiring Parvati. Shukracharya, humbled, offered apologies to Mahadev for his failure to dissuade Andhaka from such a course. As word of this transgression spread, Indradev and the other gods resolved to eliminate Andhaka. However, Mahadev and Parvati intervened, staying their hand.
