Synopsis

Lord Shiva foresees Ravana’s downfall. The demon king strains with all his might to raise Shiva’s bow, but is unable. Enraged, he proclaims that no one possesses the strength to wield it. Lakshmana then recounts to King Janaka the extraordinary power of Lord Rama. Sage Vishwamitra urges Janaka to grant Rama the chance to prove his strength with the bow.
