Synopsis

King Dasharatha disregards the counsel of Rishi Vashistha, requesting instead that the sage educate his sons within the palace walls. Simultaneously, Rahu and Ketu submit to Ravana's authority, but Surya Dev, Chandra Dev, and Mangal Dev steadfastly refuse and are seized as prisoners. While tilling the soil, Janaka discovers a newborn daughter, whom Mahadev names Sita.
