Synopsis

Rishi Vashistha declared to Dasharatha his sons: Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna. In the celestial realm, Ravana’s ambition to seize the nine planets caused alarm among the gods. He attacked Yamaraj, overcoming him in battle. Upon hearing this, Mahadev informed the deities that he would be reborn as a devoted servant of Lord Rama.
