Synopsis

Vishwamitra recounted to Lord Rama the tale of Taraka and the reason for his tutelage. However, when Rama paused, reluctant to take a life, Mahadev dispelled his doubt. Parvati, in turn, illuminated for Rama the nature of Karma. As Vishwamitra commenced his sacred ritual, Taraka and her demonic forces assailed him.
