Synopsis

Lord Shiva presented the bow to Janaka, declaring that only Sita possessed the strength to draw it. Dasharatha, fearing a curse, hesitated to dismiss his sons. Meanwhile, Mandodari, attempting to dissuade Ravana from seizing the nine planets, was granted a boon by Lord Shiva.
