Synopsis

In Kashi, Mahadev intervened to deliver a sage from the oppressive rule of Dudumbhi. Devi Saraswati informed Lord Vishnu of the existence of Vyagreshwarling. Mahadev desired that Ravana disseminate the wisdom of the Vedas through music. Ravana readily agreed to this request, but insisted on Mahadev’s accompaniment.
