Synopsis

Wrath consumed Parshuram as he turned his displeasure upon Jalandhar, dispatching him to the sage Markandya in search of understanding. There, Markandya revealed the tale of Sati, and her subsequent reincarnation as Parvati. By the time Lord Shiva reached Kailash to enter his meditative trance, Parvati had already joined him. And so, Shiva commenced his profound meditation, Nandi his faithful companion.
