Synopsis

The city of Jalandhar assailed the Devas, and Indradev, witnessing the devastating losses, turned to Mahadev for aid. In response, Maharishi Dadhichi resolved to sacrifice his body for the greater good of the cosmos. He conveyed to Indradev that a weapon forged from his bones possessed the power to vanquish Vritrasur.
