Synopsis

Jalandhar clashed with Vritrasura, impressed by the Asura’s martial prowess. He appointed Vritrasura as commander of his forces. Turning to his own people, Jalandhar cautioned the Asuras against the Devas' penchant for trickery. Then, he commanded Vrinda to join him on the battlefield.
