Synopsis

Lord Shiva graces Parvati with music from his veena. News reaches Lakshmi that her sisters are engaged in rigorous penance, hoping to wed Vishnu. Vishnu, in turn, tells Lakshmi that his meditations are often focused on her. Disheartened by Vishnu’s absence, Lakshmi's sisters resolve to take their own lives.
